Ontario Minor Hockey Association Launches New Website

Richmond Hill, ON – The Ontario Minor Hockey Association unveiled their new website (www.omha.net) today to improve its design and ease of use. Designed by Cyberteks Design, the new OMHA.net continues the OMHA trend of setting the bar higher as the OMHA reaches new heights in convenience, resources and improved communication for the minor hockey community.

Key highlights of the new design include:

  • Improved navigation with more menu items
  • Increased access to quick links with a top “tab” menu”
  • Fresh new look with more “white space” to allow for easy reading
  • Increased number of advertising opportunities for revenue generation
  • Redesigned OMHA Insider for an online magazine format
  • Enhanced statistics options for OMHA sanctioned tournaments
  • Opportunities for more contests and promotions for OMHA membership
  • Team Story submission option to allow membership to submit stories and photos of their accomplishments
  • Event on-line registration with secure e-commerce functionality
  • Improvements to the OMHA on-line store
  • Ability to view on-line skill development videos

The Ontario Minor Hockey Association, founded in 1935, is the largest minor hockey association in the world and oversees a membership base of over 300,000 consisting of players, coaches, trainers, officials, hockey volunteers and parents across the province. The OMHA has 260 active member minor hockey associations and annually coordinates over 350 leagues and approximately 700 development programs and clinics throughout Ontario.
